First pray to Christ:

You are the one who rose in glory from the grave,
To share your life with those whom once you died to save.
You drew death’s sting
And broke its chains,
Who lives and reigns,
Our risen King.

You are the one who sends, your story to declare;
You call your servants friends and give them news to share.
Let us proclaim
In all the earth,
Your matchless worth
And saving Name. Amen.

John 15:20-21

  • “Remember the word I spoke to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. 21 But they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they don’t know the one who sent me.”

  • That more and more you remember what Jesus has said to you

  • For Christians undergoing severe persecution, including imprisonment and torture
